About The Word Center
The Word Center Church of God in Christ was founded on June 1, 2004 by the divinely inspired Pastor J.O. Burns. Being passionate, diligent, and purpose driven, Pastor Burns answered God's call to preach the gospel. His ministry reaches beyond the walls of his local congregation, which is to the youth often inexperienced in the things of God. Their families have all been affected as the members apply what they have learned in every aspect of their lives. The Word Center C.O.G.I.C. is a faith based ministry that reaches out into the Long Beach community with collaborative efforts to make a difference and spread the Good News.
