VISION 300 is a vision given by God to Pastor J.O. Burns to plant and build 300 churches throughout the world. These 300 churches would be led by 300 pastors, and each church will set up businesses around itself to employ thousands of people.
VISION 300 was given by God to Pastor J.O. Burns to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world, to break the back of poverty in the lives of the people of God, and to pave the way for the Church to take its rightful place in this world. For the church to become the source of everything that the people of God will need, and to be that good Samaritian the Bible talks about. Like Gideon in the Book of Judges, Pastor J.O. Burns was called to select 300 pastors who will lap water like dogs, and be the ones to defeat the "Mideonite" spirit that represents the poverty that is taking over our land.
Pastor Nicole M. Burns is the wife of Jeffery O. Burns, Pastor and Founder of The Word Center COGIC in Long Beach, California. As Assistant Pastor of The Word Center COGIC, Evangelist Burns serves that body of believers. Her mission is to equipt the Saints of God for effective ministry and, at The Word Center COGIC, she presides over the Womens Department as she encourages women in the Body of Christ to walk in the Spirit and to aspire to be a Proverbs 31 woman.
As founder and CEO of Creative Crochet you can find her putting on fashion shows or selling merchandise across the country and soon across the globe. Teaching women how to be successful business women, a true Proverbs 31 jewel.
Evangelist Burns was born in San Francisco, California, received a BS in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach, California (CSULB), and has one, wonderful son, Jeffery O. Burns, II. Her hearts desire is to be used of God for kingdom building. As Evangelist Burns seeks to do Gods will, her focus is to be available for Gods use--all that she is and all that she has made available to God for His Glory.
Associate Pastor Terell Ward has been actively working in ministry his whole life, since the age of 15 he has been licensed to preach the gospel. He became apart of The Word Center in 2000 where he helped Senior Pastor J.O. Burns at the grass roots level of The Word Center (The church was named Bethlehem Judah COGIC at that time) grow the ministry through many different venues. Pastor Terell also serves as the International Business Director of our ministry; he is responsible for establishing innovative cash flow opportunities so that our church can continue to effectively do ministry even when economic hard times hit our country and communities.
